I don't really care if they go back to their thrash roots or not, if I want thrash Metallica I'll listen to one of the first 4 albums. I just want them to make some good music again!

Nicely put John. Although i do think what ive heard has an essance of AJFA, that might be just me who hears that though.

Yeah, it seems like it could be a mix of AJFA with the progressive-ness and touches of thrash here and there, and Load/Reload. Which I wouldn't mind.

I think I'm hearing a different song.
It sounds like out of tune garbage.

Oh it's not that bad . It's a bit boring in the first half but there are some alright bits. Saying that, if the whole album was like that I wouldn't buy it, although I'd perhaps enjoy an illegal download.

It sounds like a B-Side to those Metallica albums I hate. St Loading Garages.

Why are they popular though? Why are they the second biggest act going? Because they are good.

No, because they were good. People go to their gigs and in hope that they'll play Hit The Lights.

tbh i'd rather not hear them play songs of the first album because they'll probably butcher them. Old man Hetfield just hasn't got the voice anymore.

Agreed. But unfortunately not everyone has the sense we have.
