dont know if i will see exodus if they come again. Depends on what they play. If they are playing all of bonded like they have then thatd be good but i cant be ringed with them if the just play all of the rob dukes stuff as they most likely will. I really cant stand rob dukes

That'd be a no then. Preston's hardly the heavy metal capital of the world.

Nah it's barren with a capital B. SSS played the other month though and it is of course home to the once mighty Xentrix.

True about Preston, but I did see Death and Benediction there once, so some props is due ish, probably.

WAAAAY too much hate for Exodus here. I've not heard any of the new stuff so can't judge, but the 2 albums before that both ripped. And the last time I saw them, they played 'Last Act Of Defiance', which is an easy contender for Greatest Thrash Tune Wot Anyone Ever Gone And Written Ever. Even if the new stuff is "mad wack", it may well just be a glitch. Sure, Dukes ain't no Souza or Baloff, but he's OK. They still crush live.

that preston gig was dead good i thought
getting everyone to pig pile that big bald grock was even better
and that set of knockers that walked past when we were on i nearly spat me falsies out
two baldy prisoners trying to get out of jail

Arrrh I was sure GB had some links to Preston. You lived the UCLan dream eh... :? COME PLAY THERE, NOW!

Don't agree with you on the thrash front though dude, I mean, I've seen a few thrash shirts, but very rarely. Saying that, I did see a guy a guy in his 40s in an Obituary shirt hanging outside a working mens club.

I have heard of this mysterious place, but never visited.

Yeh the D+P does indeed play some thrash albums, but only when they haven't got a wank DJ.

Fraid not, but you could ask SSS. As for venues, it's either The Venue or Bitter Suite pretty much. The Venue is pretty cool.
