The University of Glasgow was founded by Papal Bull in 1451 which immediately makes it brilliant. You don't get a fucking ton of Chinks there for no reason. It's such a good Uni that Taggart is often filmed there.

My uni has a few attractive places, it's just the main road entrance that is totally horrible. The library is nice as it used to be the Public Record Office:
Also the Strand campus is just next door to Somerset House, which is attractive:
And the new History Department is on the 8th floor right at the top, and the main seminar classroom I'm in for the MA has a stonking view of the Thames, Parliament, London Eye, Westminster Abbey, etc.

Sadly all the gay Black Metal bands come to the University of Glasgow to get their band photos done because it's a Gothic building or something (I know bugger-all about architecture):
