Destruction, Sodom, Kreator, Onslaught, Sabbat, Xentrix, Re-animator, Holy Moses, Exumer, Cerebral Fix, Assassin, Deathrow - all amazing.

The Bay Area does have some of the best Thrash bands to its name though i.e. Exodus, Laaz Rockit, Heathen and Vio-lence.

Canada has Razor who are up there too.

America has more bands that suck e.g. Testament!

*ducks*

You weren't saying that when you saw yourself in the DVD of the London show last year

Haha, true!

I still love Testament because they got me WAY into Thrash but they just don't compare to Exodus and co.

I'll probably get back into them at some point but I listened to them like everyday when I was 16 so I'm a bit sick of them.

Can't be more right. The occasional Testament-trip can be wicked thou.

I just find Testament a bit samey, a bit too generic thrash for me to look too deep into them. saying that some tracks seriously kill.

This week it American thrash cos I'm listening to Sadus and Municipal Waste. But last week it was European cos I was listening to Destruction and Kreator......

It too hard of a decision....can't we all just live under the flag of Thrashtopia and be free to drink our beer together as one happy Thrashing Family?

Kreator and Destruction are my favourite bands but America has more people wanting to vent their anger and frustration, not to mention rebellion.
Most of the best thrash bands have come from America.

So I still vote American.

In the 80's however,I did have a particular love for british Crust Punk.

Just been browsing ancient threads from the mists of time; the final stragglers that limped from the blast wave of the Great Purge shellshocked but unscathed - found the above quote rather... quotable!
