Right, as their debut album is coming out very soon (Oct 20th, the same day as Black Ice, meaning that day will be a very very happy day for me!) on Rise Above Records, the best label in the world, it's time Diagonal got their own thread. They've put up clips and artwork from their new album on their myspace - http://www.myspace.com/diagonalband - check them out in awe of a band that are basically the King Crimson for the modern age. Unbelievable. However, unless you have seen them live, you cannot fully understand their power. I've seen them 3 times now, and each time they've completely blown me away. Bloody amazing.

Ok as you called me Mr, this gentleman is Glyes Brandreth, former Tory MP and more importantly he used to be on Countdown many years ago and was well known for his love of the pun, as seen in his classic books "The Joy of Lex" (1980) and "The Book of Mistaikes" (1982). His jumpers were dreadful too.
