Re: The Official Football Thread
I don't think we should do anything that would warrant any actual attention towards ourselves, so the maddie mcann fan boards it is.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

I've been to Praia da Luz before so I can't really get closer to a pilgrimage.

Well done to Chelsea tonight (I can hear Norsie leaping about like a big girl from here)! They were the better team for the first half, we gained a foothold in the second but they just upped it in extra time and we simply didn't have a reply.
Lampard deserves massive credit for that penalty under his recent circumstances. Fair play, Chelsea. Now just go on and make sure the mancs don't win it.

Pretty good game, like. Babel's goal was softer than cat shit though.
What the fuck are they doing with the extra time rules ATM? I hate it when they chop and change things.

Re: The Official Football Thread
When it used to be the Golden Goal nobody attacked for fear of getting caught on the break which always meant dull, dull games and the Silver Goal was just a bad idea in general. A full 30 minutes is the best way. Players get tired and mistakes happen. It was no coincidence that the most exciting part of the match was extra time tonight.

I love Sky Sports so much. I've been without TV in my flat for three months so coming back to Sky Sports may result in my balls being completed drained.

What I think of the match is on my blog, as I can't be arsed to copy-paste it here: http://www.cwatson.org/blog/2008/04/30/ ... league-08/
Basically: well done Chelsea.

Leeds get the results of their appeal tommorow.
If we get all 15 points, we're going up automatically. Doubtful really, but who knows.
