I am a bit torn really - by a stroke of chance my parents are going up to Birmingham on 5th January, and I could travel up with them, but I would then have to find a hostel or something to stay the night... so coming up on the 6th might be cheaper.
As for the 6th, bus or train sounds quite good - can we get that megabus thing for £1?

So what's the line-up?
I think Heretic should open the show as Mutant are more established and have gigged alot more.

I'm well up for going up in a group. london thrash represent yo!
i have been looking and i found this on virgin trains. if we book in advance then it is £10 each way. the only trouble is that the only 2 return trains (on the sunday... 7th) are at either 8:56 in the morning or 7:45 in the evening. for me catching the 7:45 train isn't a problem at all, but people may need to be back for things and shit... i would say that catching the 8:56 wouldn't be the end of the world...... but well... i would be lying! but £20 for trains is pretty sweet, althpugh i bet our seats would be pieces of wood!
i just checked mega bus and that was saying £8 each way (you've got to book like a month early for the sweet deals of £1), personally i would rather spend the extra couple of quid for the luxury of a train, but i'm not to bothered at all.
the only trouble is if we want to go then we have to order train/bus tickets soon otherwise its gonna be so expensive, and the prices will be ridiculous if we bought train or bus tickets on the day.
The eaiest and cheapest.... and most fun thing we could do is get hold of a mini-bus. if anyone has one just lying around and can drive it! if there were a few people going the price of petrol between us would be less than £20 each, guarenteed. its only a couple of hours to brum so i doubt you would even use a whole tank for the journey there and back. if there is only a few of us (i can fit 4 people) i would be tempted to drive us all up in my car, so long as we could find somewhere to sleep that night so i can drink, and then drive home in the morning.
