I've recently been really getting into drinking hot chocolate, as it seems to be the perfect night-time drink, as I don't really want to be kept up if I have a cup of tea/coffee and yet I want something warm as it's starting to get a bit nippy.
I'm not talking about the Starbucks/Costa/Nero type of hot chocolate, but the off-the-shelf powder type. I've got Galaxy at the moment, but it's a bit hit-and-miss and I always end up adding milk because it's not creamy enough, and it seems to taste a bit watery. Maybe I need to double-up on the powder, but it seems a lot to get a good taste.
I've not tried many brands, but if anyone's got any favourites, throw them in and I'll try them out

It's definitely better with milk, but unless you have a fancy machine that heats up milk it's so much easier to just used boiled water and a bit of cold milk.

It's milk all the way. I do it in three stages of heating and milk topping up.

Its all about pouring a bit of milk into the powder and stirring it until its a fine paste, this gets rid of any lumps that would appear in the later stages of the hot-chocolate making process.

That is actually one of the best posts of '09, so I think the thread is justified
It only was a semi-serious question, I was tired, but I'll take the advice anyway
