Annihilators new LP features trivium guitarist!!

Postby Immortalicide on Wed Feb 28, 2007 8:31 am

Triviums guitarist corey whatshisface has been invited to play on the new LP by Jeff Waters, along with a whole host of other musicians. Am i the only one getting the feeling that this is just to make a fairly lo-key release into something more??

wow it looks like he's got all the guitarists from the currently popular "metal" bands to try and get the release as much coverage as possible. I won't be buying it.

Way too many guests on that album. Waters is a good enough guitarist that he doesn't need to do that crap.

It might be interesting, I'd like to see how he works with Michael Amott;

but I would much rather have seen another album!

Starts off well with Crystal Ann and gets worse and worse. I hate the production too.

Exactly the impression I get from it - those guests read like a top 10 list of current Metal Hammer 'in-bands'. What a joke.

Sad thing is, it will probably work and the mainstream will start bumming Annihilator...

some kid at my college likes bullet for my valentine, avenged sevenfold, trivium and.....Annihilator. He heard of them because of Trivium wearing the band shirts and name dropping them in every interview. It's also the reason why it's really cool to like "thrash" at the moment instead of just "metal" :roll:

Why won't Trivium just dissapear? :wall:

Patience. I doubt anyone will produce a Trivial 2009 Calender.
