What ive heard has pretty similar production to the last. This album hopefully isnt as bad as i think it is right now.

Ok well i have just got my promo copy through... (beeped sadly) and well im only half way through but i must say at this point, not overly impressed. Production is def not as in your face and badass as the production on the last album (which i think is a dam shame) Im hearing some ok breakdown and stomp moshes...but not on par with last 2 albums, doesnt seem as fast, in your face and ..."waste" as the previous stuff.

I will post some more impressions when i get all the way through it a few times, its def cool tho- worth a purchase(i know il be buying it on release) but dont expect anything on par with the last 2 is what i think atm

The riffs may grow on thee! I realised my version is promo too... not gonna listen, gonna wait 'til i can get a non beeped version so my first listen isn't marred by silly bleeping!

just been listening to the new tracks via youtube.

how can anyone not like Municipal Waste?

i think theres a nice even blend of classic fast paced waste tunes aswell as some cool new mid paced tunes.

its good that they slow it down a tad on some tracks otherwise its hard to tell the songs apart and the album would feel like 1 giant song in a way/become a bit of a blur.(well thats sometimes how i felt about the other 3 albums in places)

anyway M.Waste are the reason how i discovered thrash around this time 2years ago.

they fuckin rock and i think there will always be a few fans who prefer 'more of the same' and dont like change or experimentation but at least all the Waste ingredients/foundations are still there in this album.

also the artwork is pretty damn cool yet again.

Well, they aren't adding any new things, it has become more primitive and aggressive.

Its more hardcore, simple and nothing interesting happens. I find it hard to listen all the way through this already short album.

Didn't really think there was much chat about this and, now that I've listened to it, I thought I'd resurrect it.

I don't think I agree with Dan on the 'hard to listen to all the way through' front. I admit the second time round I was a little bit annoyed with such a drop down with pace but since then its become a really listenable album. Massive Aggressive (the track) is pretty much mid-paced all the way through, while the rest of it rarely gets to The Art of Partying speed. However, I do find The Art... difficult to listen to all the way through. Some of the songs on that album seem to really lack substance and the speed-for-speed's-sake approach is not exactly gripping. MA by comparison is a genuinely good collection of songs and I think most at least match 'Head Banger Face Rip' which was easily one of the stronger tracks on the preceding album.

More aggressive? Yes. More primitive? Yes. Regressive? As in backward step? Not to my ears. I feel it's a step back onto the right path.

I do wish they'd diversify their themes more though...

How would you put in ranking with The Art of Partying? Definitely beats it for me.
