Rubbish! Don't those big shot movie producers know anything!? Thrash is what the kids are into nowadays, those Chipmunks need massive high-tops and long hair! Thats the way to market it!

They were still good though. Chipmunks at the movies was pretty ace - they had a serious one about the Berlin Wall once, and I'm sure Dave got shot.

I get the feeling you're missing the point here. The thing is, they WERE ace. And now mass media is going to destroy them. They WERE a cocky thrasher a geek and a wuss, now they look like a gangsta rapper, a shitty MC who talks too much and a fat bastard.
