This is sounding like a stonking release - their heaviest since their return.

Sounds pretty upbeat, but that's no bad thing! I hope this means some UK dates, they are total gods.

By the way, I read somewhere that they are playing Keep It True in 2010, and playing the WHOLE 'Epicus...' album live to mark its 20th Anniversary! :O

I really hope they do a London show seeing as they're over here for Bloodstock - Rob Lowe fits in perfectly, they were brilliant when I saw them with him.

Whilst we are on the subject of "Epicus, Doomicus...." you may be interested to know about the anthology CD coming out of Johan Langquist's earlier performance singing with Jonah Quizz. Check it out, it's good old school Metal. Label release info below...

I'm happy to announce we're done with all remastering and artwork and are only about several weeks away of unleashing the mighty JONAH QUIZZ upon the masses. Prepare for a massive dose of top-notch classic Scandi hard-rocking metal, tastefully spiced with NWOBHM crunchiness, and topped with the enigmatic voice of Johan Langquist (Candlemass - Epicus, Doomicus...)

The 1982 demo is amazing stuff; if anyone saw Enforcer here they played a cover from it in both London and Birmingham.

This Jonah Quizz stuff is banging! Really nice warm sound, and solid vintage riffing. Also, who did that anthology cover art? It rules!!

Dimitar Nikolov, I believe. He did the Solstice - "Only The Strong" DLP cover too.

Ace, browsing his site now - I love this sort of art, I wish more bands still used handmade cover art! I've bookmarked him for my secret schemes.
