Extra song up, tell us what you think

It starts off very heavy and harsh but it has some evolution in it.

I figured out how to upload 5 songs and whilst we're waiting on the album to get released we could keep people interested. :P

Cheers!

Well it certainly does start off heavy! The vocals are kind of lost under the drumming (good drumming!) but it sounds quite good.

Though what the hell happens at 2:30? Is there supposed to be a bass solo or something, cos I couldn't here shit. Possibly these laptop speakers though.

God, sorry but that's just fucking rubbish.

Tell your drummer to lay off the bass drum (though he sounds tight as fuck). I hate to think how that 'sounds' live.

The one REALLY good thing is that those songs sort of remind me of Excursion Demise by that Danish band (I forget their name). But they were tits.

INVOCATOR! That was it!

I don't like the vocals, the lyrics or the chorus, but other than that it's pretty cool.

Does it have a middle eight?

I pretty much agree. I've had a few beers, but I can't really tell if that's programmed drumming or not.

Now while that is a great compliment to the tight-as-fuckness of the drummer, it's not really what I particularly care about hearing in a good song.

Some nice melodic guitar parts though.

yeah get rid of the constant double bass!!!

other than that, and despite your dubious influences ( :P ) this sounds great!

Yeh apart from the vocal drowning out it's sounding pretty good. Think the quiet bit is a bit TOO quiet, but yeh I like it.

The mp3 had to be downsized in quality to upload, on the full bitrate version the mix sounds a lot better.

It is really good, I really like it, but one bit of constructive criticism is that I think a couple of the riffs sound too much like the "In Pain" riff, though I do love that riff.

Fantastic song. I had no problem with the double bass, although I am playing it through a powered mixer into two Celestion tops and a Carlsbro bass bin.

Could do with a better mix, and I'm not keen on the breakdown (except the tapping). But the rest is awesome. Especially vocal.

Yeah, that's another thing I didn't like - the tapping. It interrupted everything.

Tapping and Thrash don't mix too well anyway. It either sounds too Van Halen-esque or far too Neo Classical, either way it sticks out like a turd on a pool table.

I've just never been a massive fan of tapping. Unless you're amazingly tight with it, it just sounds like a load of un-necessary bollocks.
