Yeah Daikichi Amano (look him up  ) ended up having is own column the pictures alone was bad enough but i remember the quote "The octopus bit her vagina, but she orgasmed". Thankfully they stopped his article and theres some body modifier one, where cutting your eyebrow out is considered fashionable.

Though anime wise i like Samurai jack which is interesting as it has a lot of anime influences but is still very western. Again with the same east meet west i rather like the Animatrix stories which set up the history and the amazing battle scene (though i suppose that because its the Terminator future war scenes but mental)

A very small number have their merits but as a genre it's a paedo's playground.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Anime is pretty much really gay, but there are some good ones, but it's a very little amount in such a massive thing.

i just saw Urotsukadoji 2 which was completely different from what i remember rik telling me bout it but it still was pretty ace. i did watch violence jack 1 and 3 which i quite enjoyed but still violence jack lacks a good plot and progression of plot. also saw first two vampire hunters which were actually pretty amazing.

Akira, Street Fighter II, Afro Samurai and Ninja Scroll are amazing.

I also think anime is a bit of a waste of time. The main problems seem to be overlong overly convoluted plots and characters who you can never empathise with or really care about at all.
