instead of writing an essay on my lifes tussles im gonna start with 1 or 2 and then add more as the thread builds.
theres no shame in admitting getting a defeat lol. as kids i remember "making someone cry" was basically a knockout/win.
i used to always be tall/giant for my age(up to year 9)and so that helped but i remember in year 5 this smaller lad Martin barrett was annoying me at breaktime so i started clevery calling him martin carrot coz that was next level insultingness.
he was still backchatting and so i started pushing him around to put the frighteners on and it worked...kind of...he was getting so scared that in a moment of panic he kneed me in the balls and i instantly dropped to my knees and cried like a girl and the dinnerlady on break duty came over and added to the embarrassment and held my hand/made sure i was ok. all martin could do was keep saying sorry because he had never really been in trouble before and really he could have showed off if he wanted.
i never bothered him after that because although i could beat him he had already humiliated me enough to just leave it out.
even seeing him about over the years in secondary school,town/pubs etc years later and when some of my mates chat to him,i just give a nod but am still bitter, and he looks at me now with a kind of worry like what if i held a grudge or wanted a re-match.
him and i know who would win now and also a whack in the balls was cheating/lucky.
playground stuff is always the funniest.
also in the changing room at swimming lessons my classmates always made fun of me using a towel over my middle when getting chaged for the swimming lesson.its because i had pubes in year 5 and felt like a freak.anyway a classmate kept trying to pull my towel off and so i pretended to run towards him and he ran off but slipped on the wet floor and banged his head on the bench he tried to get up and go for me but i pushed him back down.i lauhged so hard but he got up and was mad and while i carried on getting ready he grabbed a drawstring bag with shoes inside it and kept swinging it around and striking me across the back and body with it. it took the wind out of me and eventually...wait for it...i cried and cried.then he was laughing.
i even remember one of those snot bubbles you get from sobbing so hard and you could see a divide in who found it funny and who felt sorry for me.
the lad who did it was alright and we usually got on.my 2 brothers were in his 2brothers classes/yeargroups and my dad went to school with his mum and they live a few roads away so they are quite a similar bunch to us.
he's a good lad overall and it was just one of those things as kids.
he is now a tank driver for the army and now and agian i bump into him when he is on leave.he has been to afghanistan and many other places whilst in the army.
ironically as a soldier he has a wife and kds in...germany. i wouldnt mess with him these days,he is trained to kill whereas i just listen to songs about death.
anyway i will list more incidents later.gotta work now. i hope some of you add some funny anecdotes or even serious ordeals.

I have had two fights, one of them resulted in a scar on my face.
The end.

My parents taught me no matter what never to engage in un armed combat, I have never been in a fight and I don't plan on it. I am just good at ignoring things and when stuff does anger me I tend to lose all my energy.

I was in a fight once - he struck me down but I became more powerful than he could possibly have imagined.

i dont have online gaming. im an rpg/fps loner. i prefer to socialise with people when i see them rather than be stuck in a room having make believe chats with them online.
uk thrash is the exception because its the only place where there are interesting topics and like minded people with similar interests/views.also i can post at my own leisure and not have to let down people virtually.
i think its an age thing, when growing up as a kid/teen(just before mobiles/internet)we actually used to go out by foot or on our bikes and knock for people to come out until there was a big enough group to all go do something.and even with consoles you had to go to eachothers houses.
now i bet most kids/teens under 16 have virtual friendships more than they actually have friendships in person. i bet after school when going home the conversation goes "hey log on at 5pm after your dinner so we can facebook/msn/online game/skype etc etc" or "i'll text you and let you know what the plan is...if i get a chance"
instead of actually getting off their arses and knocking a mates door(hoping they are in and not busy etc) and seeing if they will come out,or if you can go in whatever, and then getting a whole posse out for some proper fun ie:knock down ginger, making fires, football, bikes, tresspassing and the usual boys will be boys things.
this ease of use/gadget mentality most likely plays a part in our "obese and lazy" society always popping up in the news.
but yeah....i dont have a gamertag.

Re: fights, you win some you lose some...
Yer I see your point rik but kids our age also can't get out of the house without having a shitload of homework( especially gcse year), a lot of my mates live like an hour by train from me so by the time I get there I'll have to go home. I always have the constant threat of chavs aswell. But yer u see what you mean but the reason we're like this is because we live and absorb this technology and everything. I'm sure if you were my age right mow in this time you'd do the same I think. I'm not on the Internet so much though as I usually either do homework, play on my kit, listen to music and go on the thrash forum or facebook
