I completed it already! Not 100%, but now I have a PS3 I don't care about getting all the monkeys and coins anymore. Ratchet & Clank really is a truly superb game though.

I don't think anything can top MGS4 though. I really don't. How on earth is anyone going to be able to make a series of games as unbelievable and involving and emotional as Metal Gear Solid ever again? I'm listening to the soundtrack now and even that's making me want to cry. I truly believe actually that it's better than even the first one. So in order of goodness it's 4, 1, 3, 2. What's also brilliant is that to make up for Raiden ruining MGS2, Kojima made him into a completely amazing character in MGS4. And Solid Snake, christ almighty. No character even can be as amazing and powerful and beastly as Snake. Well done Hideo, I love you very much.

Christ, I'm on the last level of Killzone 2 now. It's fucking amazing! Some characters just died in an epic emotional cut scene, it was fucking brilliant. This is so much better than the first one. Wonderful!

Are there any amazing PS3 games coming out soon before the end of the year? For my fun times there's a new Ratchet & Clank game coming out, but it would be nice to have a nice new serious big boys game too.

Empire is very good indeed. I have a general dislike for Fallout 3, but that's mainly because the first two left such a massive impression on me.
