Snes emulators and a pc with a hdmi so you can plug it into your tv, tho you can do it with a normal tv.

Picked up a usb snes controller off amazon martketplace for like £5 bobs your uncle. Only game you cant play is Starfox but thats cause of the superfx chip or something.

emulation is a cheap and space saving alternative. only awkward games can be RPG's due to glitches/freezing etc.

i see the odd youtube vid clips where some games have characters flashing/flickering or the sound effects are missing etc.

minor setbacks for the majority of people but i suppose its just down to preference/practicality.

but yeah, keep retrogaming alive no matter how.

Yeah I guess I have been a bit lucky it would look awesome to have the physical item but cost wise its never going to happen, I mainly only play Chronotrigger and a few other RPG's other then that it is MAME all the way.

Could do this to

I'll only use emulators for arcade games that never got porte to home consoles (e.g. Warzard, Super Battletoads). Some of them can be buggy as fuck though.

after checking my youtube comments there was a comment on my ps1 collection mentioning "have you got/played the legend of dragoon".

it came out in 2001 and id never heard of it until just now.i youtube searched a few clips of it and its a total final fantasy 7 rip-off in every way ie:characters/battles/world map/pre rendered sprite based backgrounds etc.
BUT thats no bad thing coz ff7 was amazing anyway so this RPG is almost like a new fix for anyone who didnt like the series after ff7 or the ps1 era etc.
i got it off amazon U.S for £17 brand new.
its a bloody fortune to buy a uk/PAL copy on amazon.uk/ebay.uk as i guess it was rarer in europe.(although i think i would have been tempted anyway if it was my only option,as 4discs is still good value even at £20-£60)
anyway ff7 fans check out this clip:

My mate had this, it was an interesting game. He lives in scotland atm but i can ask if he'd be willing to lend it to me if you like Ric.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

LOD is grand. I had a copy of it way back when. I loved the FF7 battle sequences when it was more then just press a few buttons and the baddie would die, but you had to press like a combination in time to do your super move or something?

Got to the third disc then something else came out so I stopped playing it.

I remember Legend of Dragoon came out around the same time as Final Fantasy 9, which was superior in every way.

The real question is Pove, how does it stand up to Baldur's Gate 2?

Do I get the new Call Of Duty from Asda at midnight for £32, or wake up early and get it from Sainsbury's for £26? Tough choices.
