Man, that was so awesome in so many ways. Got back from Germany today from a week of beer fuelled metal, sausage and lolquest spectaculars!

Such a great atomsphere, wonderful people, awesome music - Sodom, Destruction (briefly for me ), Overkill, Sacred Reich, Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Possessed, Blitzkrieg, Turisas, Moonsorrow, Therion... YES YES YES YES YYYYYYESSSSSSSSSSS!

And of course, the Waste COMPLETELY blew me away at the front. I now believe the hype about how good they are live...

It was good to meet up with a few of you guys, although were the bloody bollocks was everyone else?! It was more of a small meeting than a thrash party, avec alan partridge quotes...

If I'd known there was a meet I would've made an appearance, although tbh most of the weekend I was too shitfaced to keep time. Fuuuuck it was so good. I travelled by coach (with Argon) for 24 hours there and 24 hours back. The first day was spent recovering until Sodom and Overkill kicked it. Second day was Napalm Death (AWESOME), Lacuna Fuckshitfaggots (didn't really like 'em), bits of Blind Guardian and then bits of Iced Earth (so awesome). The third day was far superior as I started drinking at day break, got a cold shower, then fucking moshed to Sacred Reich. After that it was Rage and Destruction (seeing the evil butcher on stage made me lol) followed by Municipal Waste and Cannibal Corpse. By this point I am far too fucked to remember anything, although according to my friends Vital Remains got bumped so we missed that. All I can remember is fire, beer and falling in a ditch. Apparently the last thing my festival buddies saw of me that night was me leaving the tent at 4AM in just my underwear, yelling "See you niggers later, I'm gunna go git my dick sucked!".

Wacken's the best fucking place on Earth, no question.

i got pretty fucked up and forgot about even trying to meet anyone. had a fucking amazing time though, i was blown away by overkill, destruction, sabbat, sodom and waste. Really enjoyed possesed, belphegor, immortal and sacred reich as well.
