Leeds: who stole the signposts?

Postby terrorizer on Mon Feb 11, 2008 10:00 am

Went to see Queens of the Stone Age in Leeds last night, what an awful place to navigate around! Are they still expecting the Germans to invade? Thankfully we got there in time.

Great set-list, apart from a few strange omissions, good performance but the sound was awful!

I'm not knocking the city, some very nice old buildings, plenty of very attractive young student types, just a bugger to drive around.

Get out of my city.

Or have a nice visit. Yeh, it's not the easiest place to get around. I blame my 3 driving test fails on the location. Yes, the location.

And all hail Gary Mac etc..

That's what we were trying to do. 30 mins to find the way to the M1! I mean it's such a small road isn't it.

Leeds Uni. Nice idea, but there wouldn't have been time, we got into Leeds at just before 9pm and the band came on about 15 mins later!

You should have just gone into Ludicrous Speed. You'd have been out of there in no time.

I went to do a gig in Leeds once and spent an hour driving past the venue repeatedly thanks to the bloody one way system.

Leeds has wetdreams of one day being like Milton Keynes. No, I don't mean the infrastructure. I'm talking about them having a new football team.

Try the fish... here all week... etc...
