Most original/unique UK thrash band

I'm interested to see opinions on which of the new crop of UK thrash bands are the most original or unique?

None of them really display much originality. I'd say Gama Bomb are the most unique although they are, IMO, heavily indebted to Agent Steel for their sound.

Hmm, can't hear much Agent Steel in GB, Exciter & Nuclear Assault for sure.

I think Heretic are trying.

I find listening to Heretic particularly trying.

No,but then it's just a "new wave " of a fairly old musical format.Speaking personally,I'm not here for originality,I'm here to relieve the mid 80's all over again when there was a host of new exciting bands to discover all the time and the "Speed Kills" albums were absolute must buys "Fuckin' hell!,Bulldozer,I've always wanted to hear what they sound like".
Not something you have to worry about in the myspace age I suppose.

I think that a lot of the bands write 'old-skool' thrash but in a new way, if that makes sense??

Most of the bands aren't DIRECT rip-offs as some people have said, they're just majorly influenced by the best of the 80s thrash, hence the 'similar' sounding parts...

Anyways, most of the stuff the bands are playing is their first wave of stuff, how many bands went on to write completely amazing stuff after their first album or demos the first time round?

Are they a UK Thrash band though????

They don't write 'old skool thrash' that influenced by their fave bands, they just try to write 'nu-skool' thrash, whuilst ripping off Metallica/ Megadeth and co....

They are complete metalcore cocks. Then Heafy decided to rip off Metallica completely on the last album by dropping the whiny and shouty vocals - and turned into James Hetfield.

YEhhHHeeYyy-A-wooOAhAHhh-BAAABBAAYYYEEH-OOOHHHHHHAHAA MOTHERFUCKkkekrrR!!

That never gets old.

The rip offs they come out with are astounding. They all need to die. I read a story somewhere (not sure if it's true but its believable) where the guy in the band who wears a cut off denim patch jacket had a big destruction patch on his back. On some tour in america, one of the blokes from machinehead (or lets say ex-vio-lence) asked him to name a destruction song. Apparantley he couldn't and the next time they played he appeared with a motorhead patch on the back instead.

If that's true.... I want them to die even more.

The UK Thrash bands are no different to Trivium to be honest. Well, except in quality.

It's all plagiarism of the same stuff.

im not really looking for originality, if a bands good a bands good, fuck it if its been done before, i dont think any ukthrash bands are orignal, but i do think a lot of them are very good and are developing their own take on it, so im happy :D
