me and my dad where talking bout this on the weekend and how its near impossible these days (in melbourne at least) to get a gig couse its cheaper to hire a dj, he's even heard of bands having to pay for the "privlage" of playing a gig, how fucked is that

It’s clearly a matter of promoters booking the wrong bands. For if they doth book thee Battlewitch then millions of Heavy Metal crazies would seep from there hiding places and rejoice at chosen venue. I clearly need some sleep.

Yeah thats the case with some of the promoters in London. Especially with some of the starting out bands, its just wrong.
