Hey,
Apex have done a fair few gigs around the south of England before taking a break, and we're coming back with an altered lineup for the summer.
If you know anyone who can play bass around the Brighton area, or anyone that can get around here, contact us asap!

I believe that we're pushing things into more of a thrash/death/tech region too.
Cheers,
-Lee

How often do you practise? I go down to Brighton quite a bit, but probably not enough to join you as a bassist I'm afraid...as much as I'd love to!

Theres a mysterious man who goes by the name of ricoh who lives in brighton... he normally plays guitar but can play bass too no doubt, probably really well.
If you whisper his name three times in front of a bong, he'll appear and play the solo from no more tears. Then when he's finished you can ask him if he wants to play bass for apex.

Our singer/guitarist uber combo in the form of Simon Frost dissapeared for many months straight after the Bangers and Thrash launch gig.
Upon finding him, he had been plagued by the subtle joys and glamour of the bustling Brighton indy scene and left in a blaze of glory.
I was then opted to play guitar and "sing", leaving us without the low end which we strive to maintain on a bi-weekly basis.
I'm having trouble believing in this Ricoh character. Not due to the outlandish name or his slightly less common entrance, but more so due to the fact that he claims to play the No More Tears solo, long forgotten by all self respecting music lovers.

Trust me he does actually exist! He used to play guitar in Sonic Death, a band i used to be in too, along with sonic sam from Deceptor. I think hes playing in a band called Orifice in Brighton at the moment but god knows if theyll ever do a gig. Yeah I dont know why he always insisted on playing the solo from no more tears, i think he really liked zack wylde.
