I was sent a promo of their album ages ago when I wrote reviews for a metal site - I remember it being very impressive at the time, but I'm not really into prog so I don't know what I did with it.

Do dream theater count as prog metal? If so is this band better then dream theater?

Yeah, being better than Dream Theatre is hardly an accolade, no matter what Lev may claim.
The only thing close to 'Prog Metal' I'm listening to at the moment is Devin Townsend, and I'm not sure he even qualifies as Prog Metal.

In fact, now that I come to think of it I randomly met the bass player of this band when out on the town in some London metal bars with Tom if I remember rightly. I remember telling him I'd reviewed their album, and he'd read the review.
At the time I gave it a stonking good review, but listening back to it now it just sounds pointless. Prog can fuck off!
