Every film might as well be called "Ohh it looks a bit risky, wait he has won and shagged a bird" . The only decent thing to come of Bond was Goldeneye on the N64. Other than that it can fuck off with all the other atrocious thing people like such as Harry Potter and pineapples.

See, this is the uninformed opinion of the common peasant. Have you seen all of the Bond films? I agree that some of them are complete and utter tripe, Roger Moore being particularly guilty of being in shit films. However, a film like From Russia With Love is not only a great bond film, but a great film in its own right. It deals with issues fairly relevant to the time unlike the Bourne films which are basically heralded as more credible than Bond films because they're not so OTT. Another example of a genuinely brilliant film would be License To Kill. Though it was a bit of a break with the traditional Cold War-centric Bond films, not only was it a brilliant story, but the cast, not to mention the stunts, was fucking fantastic too.

Getting four disgustingly expensive Kenworth trucks driving them about on cliffs, crashing a couple, and blowing one up is something that just reminds me that films didn't always rely on ridiculous CG animation to be considered visually acceptable.

Plus! PLUS! The pooney you invariably see in Bond films alone makes them great. Actually, the fan-dan in the newest one was gant. Eva Green really is a bit of a dog, and that minority one was just a bona fide hound. What other franchise can boast the likes of Denise Richards, Carey Lowell, Kristina Wayborn, Maud Adams, Barbara Bach, Britt Ekland, Jane Seymour, Claudine Auger, and Ursula Andress?
