It's not thrash but my heavy metal band IX Circles will be going into the studio sometime after the new year and my black metal band Aeternum are in the middle of recording a 5 track EP so that should be released early January.

Hospital of death should be recording an EP, at the rate we get time to do stuff nowadays though it merits us doing a mini-album instead.

I am unfortunately joking. Rob's a great singer, but short of kicking him very hard in the gonads, he's no match for The Brothers Gibb. A much more likely summary is lots of fast songs that sound like Kreator

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

haha yeah been a long time coming. Got a couple of wee bedroom recorded demo samples that weve been working on, just roughly recorded and missing vocals and shit but give you an idea what we are doing these days

Yeah it would be great to finally hear some more Amok! Saw you guys in Edinburgh some months back, and it sounded weighty and sharp, like an axe.

THRASHIST REGIME are delighted to announce the release of their debut full-length album FEARFUL SYMMETRY through independent label FAT HIPPY RECORDS on the 2nd of April 2012.
Having cemented their reputation as one of Scotland’s foremost thrash metal artists, they have spent the last year carefully crafting a thought-provoking sonic masterpiece which tackles relevant social issues as diverse as Universal Soldier and enormous gas explosions in local pubs. Says frontman JOE JOHNSTON: “It’s taken longer than anticipated to get the album finished but we’ve just started mixing it and so far it sounds fantastic.” Produced by DAN GOLDSWORTHY (who has worked with Andy Sneap’s band HELL), the album title is a reference to a conceptual trilogy of songs about a SPIDERMAN adventure of the same name.
A launch tour will commence with a thrashtastic launch party at Captain Tom’s in Aberdeen on the 31st of March. Being there is greatly advisable.
Further album/tour details will follow soon…
