New iPhone in June - who's getting one?

Soooo, Apple have announced the iPhone OS v4 to be released in June with the iPhone 4G. I've had a Samsung Tocco (a relatively decent touch-screen iPhone copy) but I'm being swayed by the iPhone apps. The only thing that has held me back is the lack of multi-tasking and all the jailbreak stuff, but now that the v4 OS will have all that and more, I don't see any reason not to get one.

I might try and blag a 4G out of Orange when I upgrade as I've been with them for something silly like 9 years, but I'll have one even if I have to settle for a 3GS (standard 3Gs don't have the multi-tasking).

Anyway, techie ramble over, queue tumbleweed ....

I don't own a mobile phone :dance:

Though i do occasionally enjoy the apps on the Iphone, they've really bridged the handheld/mobile market.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

The 3GS phones can install OS v 4 i think dude - a guy I work with has the beta on his phone atm, he says it rules!

The plain 3G phones can install the OS, but they're limited to a set of features of the OS rather than the full whack - 3GS and 4G (TBA) phones will get everything. Probably should have written "3Gs" as "3G's" :)

My iPhone contract is up in June so I'll be renewing with the 4G!

Will 'sit on my iPhone with my keys in the pocket' this month and get a nice shiny one through, leave it on the shelf and eBay it come my renewal.

My friend keeps going on about it- hes got a 3Gs like me, says the OS is good!

Only problem with 4G i have is that everything is online, would be worried about hacked and shit!
