I'd happily help out. I don't mind writing reviews or whatever and I'll happily proof-read. However, as has been said this will need people to do what they are asked and when they're asked. The problem with the Brew View was that I wrote almost all of it and then had to proof-read and edit everything. Jamie would then smarten everything up and design it. Jonny K did do a little but no one wants to have to commit to consistently writing the bulk of a zine...

If all went off though, this would be a really good idea.

There's an unseen fortune under their belts
Are golden temples a symbol of God's way
This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

Not a problem, but it would have to be free then. So who would be funding the cost of the zine???

i had a thought of the 'production team' making it a .pdf, then when you want a zine to send off, just print it out and whack it in, would be costing less than 5p every time, and would save on postage of amounts around the country! it's a good long term investment, especially if everyone who is printing/ sending these zines gets a mention (ie, an ad for thrashing rage, mort  ).. i dunno

could start out as a 4 page a5 sort of thing perhaps and if it needs to be bigger, then make it bigger!!!!

maybe have a worldwide overview section too for further interest?

i dunno just idea-flowing tbh

I'd recommend just having a small amount of editors, as quite often with the e-zines they end up just being each person interviewing and reviewing their friends band.

Just take contributions here and there (ie foriegn scene reports, live gigs etc etc) but you'll end up having to do most of the work yourself....

+ it's good to find a decent printing company BEFORE you make the zine, I tried one who wanted £500 for just 200 copies.....

Honestly think this is a good idea. How about using some kind of advertising to fund it? Jamie got a few in one of the brew views to put towards printing costs. It certainly needs to be free to get people reading it.

Although with a pdf, I'm sure the fast majority of people wouldn't mind printing some off to hand out at gigs and local venues. Nicey nice.

Yet again, I would contribute, but I'd just sound like an idiot. You can interview me about what I do with a day off. I bought some CDs and made rice crispy cakes today...
