Man, I wish I could've been there... last time (which was the only time) I saw them, I had such an amazing time. Crusader was blinding... Did they play much new stuff? I'd love to see some of the new songs live, especially State of Grace, Red Star Falling and I've Got to Rock to Stay Alive! I'm still loving that album!

They were awesome in Manchester as well. Everyone off to Wacken MUST see them! They're headlining the first night, and no one else is on at the same time, so no excuses!

Just got back from Wolves. Great show as expected but a little disappointed they played nothing at all off Power and the Glory, Innocence is No Excuse or Rock the Nations.
The new tracks all sounded excellent apart from Atilla the Hun which seemed to drag a bit toward the end, but at least they played a hefty amount of the classics like Strong Arm of the Law, Denim and Leather, Wheels of Steel, Motorcycle Man, And the Bands Played On and Never surrender.
No Dallas 1pm though

It was on about a month ago originally and I watched it then. couldn't figure out (apart from a bit of publicity) what Saxon were even doing it for.
Goldsmith just tried his best to lord it over them, treated them like children, made them do stupid things and then claimed all the praise when they played a storming show in Sheffield. Not that they wouldn't have played the same show to the same high standards without him.
Like Biff said the other night "Harvey goldsmith. What a twat".
