Re: sexy
I just e-mailed them and they'd charge circa £1, 800 for a Soloist that would make me happy child number one. Not too bad considering Jackson Soloists go for around that anyway.

You could get him lower I reckon if you play the game.

Re: sexy
To be fair, I did specify abalone inlays and binding on the neck and headstock. Jackson uses Mother of Pearl and white plastic so I'm sure that would have added a bit. I think the 10-12 month waiting period would probably put me off too considering that it's just a soloist with 22 frets, a non-recessed Floyd Rose and no tone knob I'm after.

Re: sexy
If they did a "Death Angel" copy I would be well chuffed.

Re: sexy
I don't even think Jackson would do a Death Angel copy. From what I hear, the only real change that has taken place at Jackson since Fender bought it was for them to stop offering out-of-the-ordinary Custom Shop guitars like Rob's. Bit of a shame because that is a cool axe he has.

It's such a weird guitar. It's like part Warrior, part Explorer and part SG but sort of like a Stealth. I guess that's why they're so rare; having a guitar made based on four or five different guitars is quite labour intensive.
