If it's about not having time to dedicate to being in a band then maybe I can see some reasoning (although not much was going on anyway?)

As for not having anything to do with metal as a whole, lame excuse! I repeat 'Why is that relevant?'

When I first started at my current teacher's post I was definitely known as the metal teacher by my colleagues. In fact, UK Thrash was my first internet check in the morning and it became a running joke that all I did at work was go through the posts on here.

When I was in hospital, the RE team would visit me and they made a magazine called Caps Zeitung that made frequent references to UK Thrash, Municipal Waste and Dio. Was most excellent.

It was hilarious in my 3rd year of uni, when every now and again one of my house mates would come into my room to say hello and nearly every single time I was on the thrash forum, and nearly every time Martin's bouncing tits were all over the page. She was rather confused by all this. It was very hilarious indeed.

I used to go on UKThrash at work when I worked in an office full of middle aged women and had to scroll past Martin's tits quickly or put a BBC news window over them if I wanted to read whatever shit he wrote. Although the idea of them catching me.. at it.. was, of course, arousing.
