How can you not work it out in logic pro?
Just create a new software instrument....
Choose EZDrummer as the generator....
Create a new midi region on the track...
Make drums...

I've never actually tried using ProTools with MIDI, I've been happy enough using Logic for that and have had no reason to try anything else. Pro Tools is always the best for real recording and editing, but Logic is lovely for MIDI joys. Use Logic for MIDI joys, Zurab.

Pro Tools is a bit hard for using it. The best way to write drums for ezdrummer is on Guitar Pro. Program them on there, export the midi file and then open in midi file in Cubase and open the ezdrummer VST over that track.

Get Superior Drummer off pirate bay, it basically EZdrummer with a lot more settings. I use DFH and the Vintage Kit with it.

This is how I did it for Garageband - also works with Logic:

can't be too different in pro tools - I agree with Bangover.
