Re: UK Thrash Myspace
ok for those people that wanna know how to have those big banners on the top of yer band myspace copy n past this code in the bio section of yer edit page. obviously where it says enter img url enter it. whn u first do it might be too much to the left or to the right, to get it to the centre just tweak the number next to the word 'left' and just keep previewing n editing til u got it in the center..
<style>
body{
background-position:top center;margin-top: 632px
;}
div.topbanner {
top: -0;
left: 226px;
width: 0px;
height: 0px;
position: absolute;
}{masterhead}
</style>
<div class="topbanner"><img src="IMAGE URL HERE"></div>

Re: UK Thrash Myspace
What I saw on the Mutant/Evile tour led me to believe that rather a lot of people do actually enjoy thrash. If every single person who saw us live on that tour posted on here, this place would be thriving all the time. The point being, just because not many people post on here at the moment, it doesn't mean that no one in the country likes thrash. The MySpace site will be a good way of finding those people and bringing them here, so we can virtually rape them.
So basically James, lovely stuff, now you have to go on a mad friends-adding-spree, and bring more people here!

Re: UK Thrash Myspace
Well said Jon, it was the Evile/Mutant show at the Underworld that was the main wake-up call for me; whilst there were lots of lovely people there I knew from the forum, they were far outnumbered by the unknown faces of a similarly young age, who were clearly total thrashers but probably unaware of this site. I felt like a total failure for not having flyers to give all those cool new people.
It's easy for people to jump to conclusions about the entire state of the UK fanbase just by detecting the general forum vibe, but that is a rubbish indicator, as thrash is clearly alive and well amongst lots of the younger generation - the fact that it's all but a taboo amongst the mega-posters here doesn't change that.

I like the rework man, looks good. I think this is long overdue, make sure you line me up with some flyers next gig we go to.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

The MySpace page is dull as fucking dishwater, by the way. It's black with green bits in it. It actually looks like turd. I would say I agree with Lev's comment but I think Craig and James would need a bucket and spade to dig the sand out of their vaginas. Honestly, they'd be better off promoting paedophilia.

Polite version: The page isn't very exciting to look at, maybe consider finding someone who's a pro at designing MySpace sites to make it look professional and glorious.

Re: UK Thrash Myspace
I've just sat on Myspace for about two hours, must have fired off at least 500 flyers. The next step is to do it in real life
By the way if anyone wants to help out flyering in areas other than London, that would be wicked - feel free to get some batches printed if you can find some good deals (preferably glossy paper, A6 size) and we will discuss Paypalling to cover expenses. Get in touch first. This way we could harness the crowds who attend the various thrashy shows up North.
