Re: New Band Nightmare Demise
quality aint that bad for a first demo, can actually hear the intruments, drums and vox!
only young lads aswell i presume, so fair play! playing well fast aswell, good to hear!
tracks almost remind me of Havoc Mass (if anyone even knows who they are?!!) and some other thrashy/death stuff from late 80s early 90s...
my advice would be get tighter with the rhythms (bass and guitar and drums all together), vocals maybe could come down a little in the mix.. other than that, listenable tunes so keep it up boys, and destroy Rugby!!!

Not my cup of tea I'm afraid.
What IS my cup of tea:
- 1 Goldblend Yorkshire tea bag.
- Large mug or cup.
- The half tea-spoon of sugar is added BEFORE water.
- Pour water over teabag while the teabag is on the spoon.
- Allow to brew for ages.
- Add semi-skimmed milk until tea is lovely golden colour.
- Pour in open face hole.

thats almost exactly the way i do it, but no sugar for me!!!
is anyone familiar with the 'red spoon' technique of tea-brewing?

Yeah I agree with Thrashy Maniac, it's not bad but definately needs work, although that's to be expected since you've only been together about 6 months!!
I'm not massively keen on the big tempo changes, seems a bit too much of a drop from the fast to slow bits, but that's just my opinion, and yeah it's a good start!

After the first riff in that second song you should break out into a massive doom riff. Become a doom band instead.
Not a my cuppa too sorry. Guitarist needs to be a bit tighter.

My cup of tea is a glass of water or orange juice.

Yorkshire tea mmmmmmmm
Yes thanks very much for the comments! Taking it all into account cheers very much! These recording are fairly poor quality but for a first demo, recorded live no editing done at all kinda thing it wasn't to bad.. but yeah we plan to have another two tracks recorded within the next two weeks one of them when i play it i kinda get like a massive anthrax feel to it , but hey i'm just drumming to whatever the guitarist writes
We also plan to (once we've gathered together enough of the mullah) get ourselves into a proper studio, re-record and stick the four tracks together as an E.P. actually properly layered and mastered e.t.c

Yeah we've had different reviews on the vocals from everyone though and we ourselves like 'em. Like oh so many vocalists in metal you tend to either really like 'em or absolutey hate 'em.
But then again me personally i ten to get into the music behind it all, I mean if i was all about the vocals, I don't think i would ever of liked any of the early Anthrax stuff.

I'm sorry, but i have to say now that from listening to your music and reading this quote you obviously have no idea what thrash is
