Bit much isn't it, i quite enjoyed it.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

mr silver is a "bit much" too

but about the album:not really that harsh,i coulda said it was generic and samey.oh whoops i just did!
there are many better uk thrash bands out there(with more down to earth, non ego trippin frontmen)at the moment who deserve more credit/recognition than SM.

I can't really argue with that statement, though i've not really spoken to dave that much tbh.

good, coz i dont wanna burn any bridges with people.....whereas d.silver does like to do that

Bill, dont take the first part of the above sentence seriously,it was just so i could set up another classicly clever rik joke.
saying that, the second part is actually serious to some extent.

I think i can manage you disliking a band rik, lol. Each to their own and all such.

I've only met the chap twice and didn't really speak to him a great deal on either occasion so i can't really have an opinion.

to some im sure they are probably lovely chaps and i know they are liked by many.
for me personally,i disliked the miserable/superior attitude and snobbery i recieved from d.silver on numerous occasions.

mind you they are doing ok for themselves and have been successful so well done to SM in that sense,i cant knock that!
i have enough decency not to come on here to resort to childish insults or insensitive criticism as they are still musicians but
since early this year theyve lost my potential interest, and in future i wont be going out of my way to support them again.

that is all.

i hope this doesnt cause a potential beef if i do attend the birmingham gig,as ive tried my best to be grown up and constructive on the matter

who knows maybe i will have a jolly chinwag over a pint with dave and re-purchase spitting venom but if he wants to act like before(and possibly worse if he ends up reading all this and cant take my last few posts sensibly)them a WWF rumble as described a few pages back may be unavoidable  if it does happen i wanna take part as brett hitman heart, and preferably in a cage match including a ladder :D

i will chip in for petrol and award the driver a drink at the gig for putting up with my bad farts, and even worse pun jokes.

on a side note:surely on the line up the slot for savage messiah(overated) should be swapped with Doctor Death(who are way better) :D

Thats why im a promoter and your a punter.

All bands really get the same set time at our shows regardless on what time the play, bar the headliner of course.

Yet bitching about someone is necessary?

For the record I dont think im better then you or anyone else. I just dont apprecaite being told how to do something I put a lot of time and my own money into.

i didnt bitch, just stated my opinion down to my personal experience.i have got on really well with all band members and forumers
who ive met since last august however it was not the case when meeting SM.

i wasnt telling you what to do either.i dont remember saying "Povey, you had better swap the 2 bands around, right now".

i put "surely the line up slot for.....should be"this was based entirely on my own opinion.
i wouldnt actually want a gig changed around as i appreciate a lot of time, effort and money goes into organising these superb events.

i just though seeing Doctor Death at the halfway point would add a certain vibe/energy to the proceedings.although they always play awesome openers anyway, but as we have established im not the promoter

anyway it will be awesome :rockdevil: thats if i can even make it yet and more importantly if you still love me Povey
