New Goblin

Just finished listening to the new Orange Goblin. Bloody great. True unadulterated british metal! Got a great groove throughout, and a nice bit of variation in some of the tracks. Stand out track for me was Hounds Ditch. Has some great fast riffs mixed with a slower more doomy ones and some awesome vocals from Ben.

Highly recommended!

I fucking love it. I love how the first track is called The 'Ballad' of Solomon Eagle. Haha, this is definitely what a Goblin ballad should sound like!

Ben Ward's voice is great. Despite the fact I saw them live and it was amazing, I've never actually listened to them properly before, so this is a delight to my ears. The production is quite dirty, not too dirty that it sounds crap, but dirty enough that it sounds fucking metal. This is the fucking dogs bollocks.

METAL. :rockdevil:

I finally went and bought this album today! After having not listened to it in ages as it was on my old PC at uni, I am thoroughly enjoying it very very much indeed. It's very metal. There's a wonderful live DVD that comes with it, so I'll get drunk and watch it later.

I reckon my fav goblin album is frequencies from planet ten, especially saruman's wish that's such class tune (particularly when you're baked)
That is not dead which can eternal lie,
