Haha yeh!

Been talking loads last night about the gig we may try and book. Theres two possible venues we have in mind. One called the LGM which is close to Liverpool and Manchester, and the train station is right near the venue, which is great. Diamond Head have giged there in the past. OR The Barfly in Liverpool, which may be a bit more hassle.

Do it in Manchester, it's the only place which is gonna get a proper turnout really.

Yeh liverpool isnt that good for gigs really, although the "artsy" gigs get a decent turn out. If you're going for manchester the Star & Garter might be worth a look to. Complete shit hole really but its good for small gigs.

If you wanna start a North west vs North East music war you can have one. Name 10 bands from your area (not including Jimmy Nail) and I'll pop it against 10 of ours.

Might I suggest Stan Laurel? He's a well known Cumbrian singer?

Stan is indeed a Cumbrian.

And that Roxy lass from Emmerdale. She lived down the road.

So we've got Stan Laurel and the lass from Emmerdale Vs Joy Division, New Order, Oasis and the entire cast of Madchester...
