In my quest to complete my Iron Maiden collection, I found a "complete discography" torrent (don't go jumping down my neck about torrents, about 80% of my Maiden collection is legit - including all studio albums bar two ).

There was a load of fake stuff in there (one was a cover of Paranoid, purportedly Maiden with Ozzy on vocals, but it was just a direct rip from the Sabbath Reunion album), but one of the fake ones I really liked, it was titled "Castlevania" and I'm 99% sure it isn't Maiden. The annoying thing is, it's only half a track. I want it all dammit

From a quick Google search I found Castlevania is an old SNES series, and I have no way of knowing if the track is actually a metal cover of a Castlevania theme or whatever.

So, basically what I'm asking is this: identify the band and the track if you can.

Yeah, I've heared that cover before but I don't know who did it! It's the best metal Castlevania cover I've heared too, I just can't remember the band! Fuck!

Megadriver covered that song too. It's on the megadriver website, but it's not as good as this particular cover you've posted.

haha! I had Castlevania for the NES! I can't even remember how the theme tune went it's that long since I played it
