OK!
I really want a BC Rich Ironbird so bad! I want a good one though, not a 250 quid one, I want a moderately expensive one, with all the nice stuff on it that wont break in like two weeks.
Can anyone provide me with a review of what they are like to play?
Also, I can't seem to find one anywhere! If anyone could link me some pages to a dealer or something that would be great!
Cheers!

Re: Ironbird Help
I think there were some pretty decent Platinum Pro series and NJ Neck-thru ones about a few years ago, I guess they'bve been discontinued now though, I'm fairly sure they were between £350 and £500, the low price might've been after they'd been discon'd... Was gonna buy one but was always skint at the time... The only current Ironbirds are the white one with a fuck-off lightning bolt fretboard, which is about [EDIT, checked the actual prices...] £400/500 and a really basic model which is under £200 and incredibly likely to be total shite...
I sometimes see some late 80s/ early 90s models on ebay for aroun £250+ but they're usually overseas and postage is £££... Watched some pretty sweet BC Richs go on ebay before, very sad seeing a decent 80s relic going for not even £200 when you cant afford it
I've been after one for ages man, good luck finding the one you need!!!

Re: Ironbird Help
In my experience, unless you're willin to shell out for a US BC Rich, or a top end jap one, you'll be disappointed! My best advice would be to save up n keep checkin e-gay for a nice one, although they are pretty rare!!
As for playin one, sat down, the top pointy bit sticks in your ribs but is comfy enough and strapped up they're neck heavy.
Buy a Jackson!
Or a Ran!!
Or BOTH!!!

It's cool but it's basically identical to the Jackson Warrior, which Tom already has I think.

Yes! Thats the one!
Ok, thanks for all your help! I will have to try one first, just to make sure, basically, I'm obsessed with Trey Azagthoth from MA, he is such a cool player, he inspired me to try blasting one of these machines! Well, the Ran one looks like my dreams. Will keep you updated as to what happens.

Re: Ironbird Help
A Ran like that, without a fancy top would probably be £1250-£1350, even cheaper if it's a bolt on!
