Yeah, there'll never be another Snake game, and after MGS4 there doesn't need to be, and now the Kojima has made Raiden cool, hopefully Rising will be a fresh and delicious experience. It's looks like this will probably run alongside MGS4 anyway, as Raiden's story finished too really at the end of that game. That would be amazing, imagine having to fight with no arms and a sword in your mouth at the end of the game!

Seperate note, I picked up Total Overdose again today - got it for christmas in like 2005, played it for a coupleof hours and then stopped. Only stopped today because it started to get a bit frustrating (read: difficult) but have any of you lot played it? What'd you think?

i got to the final boss and my characters are all levelled up enough BUT the final boss is a rapist.
not only that but the nearest save point to the boss is three floors away so you have to battle through the three toughest upper levels of the area before you can even face him.it then takes 10-15 mins to steal the dark matter from the boss(to weaken his attacks) then after another few mins after that,he proceeds to just wipeout he whole party.
i have tried untold amount of times to beat him as i want to play ff5. but after unlimited wasted evenings(30-45mins a pop)
i just watched the ending on youtube.
i think a good amount of overall playing time on my memory card is pretty much in that poxy final area.
even the strategy guide says to expect a lot of creamings but be patient and you will prevail. sod that,because it also says that ff4 was considered the most difficult game in the ff1-6 nes/snes era.
it wouldnt be so bad if there was a save point right nest to the boss room as that would save a lot of wasted time and frustration whenever you get game over. even though you get healed up fully before the boss attacks,its still to much of a trek each time.
bollocks,theres a difference between being a completist and just putting yourself through a video game related depression. thats why i just had to see the boss die on youtube instead otherwise i would need counselling by now if i attempt it any bloody more.

Shall I sell FF13? Or shall I just burn it? It sounds like I'm quite close to the end (I'm on Chapter 10 out of 13, the Fifth Ark, one of the most boring, overlong and annoying areas of a game I've ever played), but to apparently have the game finally open up in Chapter 11 only to go back to the same old run forward/fight monsters/run forward/fight a boss/witness melodramatic overblown bollocks cut scene/repeat to fade in Chapter 12, I really can't be arsed with that. Maybe I should just find out what happens in the rest of the story on Wikipedia and trade it in for Red Dead Redemption, which sounds amazing. I feel horribly betrayed, raped and let down by Square Enix. And to think I started off defending FF13. I'm going to cry and wank over my FF7 box all night.

John,you should play ff6 instead and also watch that dvd by John Woo which i gave you ages back if you want some extra epicness in your life.

Unbelievable, I went to Game today and they told I would get SIX POUNDS if I traded in FF13 for another game. SIX FUCKING POUNDS!!! It only cost me 40 quid about 3 months ago. Absolutely ridiculous. So I went to Sainsbury's and bought Toy Story 2 for a tenner, came home and watched it, and had a ruddy good time.

So I guess I'll have to try and complete FF13 at some point, but it's also really hard and because it's so crap I can't be bothered to try and overcome the hardness. I wish Snow and Hope would fuck off and get raped. Sazh is the only cool character they should just make a game called Sazh and have him talking for 10 hours about how cool he is.

Everything related to Final Fantasy just sounds completely wank and I'm glad I never got addicted to it as a child.
