I wondered if anyone would be up for another forum meet up to see in the New Year, and make it a bit of a feast at the same time.
Essentially a thinly veiled ploy to satiate my desire for a slap-up platter of pub grub, but I think it would be a cool social event at the same time.
On my venues shortlist would have to be the Marlborough Arms, which some may remember offers a brilliant steak and ale pie meal, and you can get two such orders for £8! Any Wetherspoons would be an economical alternative I suppose, and their food is always decent.
I guess the main issue is deciding when, as various people will no doubt have shifts at work. Perhaps a Sunday would be more doable than a Saturday for this reason - I don't mind on the date!

I think people should come up to Cambridge instead. Not sure if I would be able to go down to London before I fly back to the states.

Do it on the 12th, then come down to The Elephant Inn in North Finchley so you can see me play badly with my friends in a covers band. We haven't even practiced or decided what songs we're playing yet. It's going to be shit.

I would if I were in London. I love pub grub. It's the second best food on earth, behind my mum's roast dinners.

That's already happened after I felt forced to throw my prawn madras at Paul after one Reanimator...

Do you have to catch any particular train on the 12th? 6th is far too short notice methinks, sadly.
We could make it more of a midday lunch sort of thing if people preferred - for me it depends what time the Deceptor rehearsal will be

I'm booked on the 14.38 out of Euston, and I'll have a stupidly big bag with me, so I doubt I can make Saturday 12th .
