I've not listened to this album literally, for about 3 years.

I just put it on and it's fucking amazing. I'm stupid as fuck for letting this album collect so much dust!

The Antichrist is probably my second favourite Slayer song, second only to Angel of Death! Show No Mercy is my favourite Slayer album by far.

Nah nothing like that, I don't like Hell Awaits really either. Show No Mercy is just... well it's amazing, wicked catchy riffs, cool solos, satanic lyrics sung by a catholic! And all performed at high speed! You should definately get it.

i love show no mercy man - the audio quality is really good for an early thrash album and they seemed to already have a well developed style unlike a lot of other thrash bands early on

Show no mercy is incredible...topped only by reign in blood. Saying that crionics is definately the best slayer song.

You obviously have the remastered version then. I'm all for a raw recording, but the original SNM sound quality ruins it a bit.

Well I'll be damned. The only thing that lets it down is the quality. I still love it personally though.

I have always said that hell awaits is the best slayer album musically, and if it had recieved the same production as RIB, it would have been immense!! Tracks like necrophiliac and praise of death are among the best trash tracks ever written. As for SNM, it is a good album, which i listen too occasionally, but it is paled in comparison to HA, and even the awesome haunting the chapel EP. !!
