NVQ's or other qualifications?

Postby Stevedot2 on Fri Dec 28, 2007 7:21 pm

I have to do a level 3 NVQ in Customer Service for work, it's a fucking pain in the arsehole, too much work!!! :wall:

Has anyone else done an NVQ, if so what did you do? Or any other work related qualification?

I have a NVQ level 1 in Waste Management. It was a waste of time. When a level 2 was suggested, strictly voluntary luckily, I declined...

I have a level 2 & 3 in cooking. I did it on the YTS scheme in the 90's for 80p an hour.

I'm an assessor now and the money is good so keep it up! It repeats itself a lot but you'll get used to it.

Oooh, V1, I've never heard of that but I'm assuming its a varifyers award. Did you do your A1 on on the ESF program or was it just... erm, not?

 I'll go with the not option there! No idea what that is. You can do A1's and V1's at your local college on a one day a month day release while you're working full time. Once you're at verifier stage you can pretty much work where you want and set your own wages.

Yeah I know, my mate deals with all that kinda stuff, and my boss tries to get ANYONE to do all sorts of qualifications to reach our targets, she currently has a group of old poeple (oldest is in their 80's and one of them actually died recently!!!!  ) doing a Customer Service NVQ, and they don't even know their doing it, although they are just doing a couple of units, no written work.

I should really be working on my NVQ now but I just can't get motivated, it's just... basically I'd rather cut off my cock with a hatchet and mash my balls with a hammer, it's just a shame my video camera is broke :(

Oh yeah and Feemo, what does that guy in your avatar's sign say?

Could have done that quite easily myself now I think about it. Well I still haven't done any work so I'm going to bed.
