You can do that with any sport.

It's just grown men in shorts kicking leather at a net. It's just standing on two bits of wood and falling down a hill. It's just ...

You should all just grow a pair and watch rugby.

Rugby's just grown men hugging in mud while chasing a comedy ball.

I tried to watch Rugby the other day, and it was just shite. And...we're off...and we've stopped play...and we're off again...for three seconds and we've stopped play...and we wait for them to get in that big hug position...and it's a foul....and we wait for another ten years...and we're off...it's out. Game ends.

Bloody hell it's rubbish.

I also believe sport should be skillful. All you need to do in Rugby is not get battered while you run. And you can avoid that by throwing the ball behind you. Pffft.

Don't be completely dense.

Controlling a rugby ball is pretty difficult and is half the point of the game. Whereas in football you can control the ball easily and know how it'll bounce, you can't really afford to let the ball bounce in rugby because, chances are, it'll bounce over you and you'll end up conceding a try. Have you ever tried to kick a rugby ball? Not that anyone other than Andy Goram bothered to drop kick that often, but it's not a skill in football. Try drop kicking a rugby ball - it's not easy.

Side-stepping and running onto the ball at good angles so that you can pass people who are 16 stone yet who can do the 100 metres in 10.5 seconds is pretty skilful if you ask me. Rugby players also have to be much fitter than football players because, unlike in football, you can't walk around the pitch passing the ball and take the occasional tea break whenever someone falls down.

It's not like they're actually hurt. They do it win free kicks/penalties or waste time at the end of a game to win. Bastardry isn't a 'girly' thing.

Yes it is. Grown men throwing themselves around and crying like women is pretty despicable really. I just don't buy the argument that rugby can, in anyway, be construed as gay because the players actually have to tackle each other. That and they have to get up and play on after a hit like this:
