I'm the bassplayer for Belgian bands Rosevalley Rebels (Hardrock-ish) and Sanity's Rage (Thrash), and am looking for a list of decent places to play at in the UK, building a sort of database for this stuff...would be really cool if someone here could help me out with this

For London, likely the Unicorn, some people have issues with it, but I'd happily say it's the home of a lot of decent metal at the moment.

Apart from that who bloody knows, I'm too much of a slug to know these things.

I too would like to know of some class venues. Maybe we should make a sticky thread someplace??

We did have one somewhere, what we actually need is more members and less general slug behaviour.
