DEEP PURPLE!!!!!21I2U1YIUAWEAKJDHSF
Woohoooooo! And so I finally get the chance to see Deep Purple, who I keep missing every time they do a gig. They're doing 2 dates, 14th (Sat) and 15th (Sun) November, £38 a ticket. I'll probably go to the Saturday one. Who the bloody goodness is coming with me?

After a bit of Wikipedi-ing, the current Mark VIII line-up is thus:
* Ian Gillan – vocals, harmonica, congas (1969–1973, 1984–1989, 1992–present)
* Steve Morse – guitar (1994–present)
* Roger Glover – bass guitar, synthesizer (1969–1973, 1984–present)
* Don Airey – keyboards (2002–present)
* Ian Paice – drums, percussion (1968–1976, 1984–present)
I knew Jon Lord wasn't in it anymore, but I had forgotten, so that's shame to be reminded of this.

Oh yeah, I didn't say. It's at Hammersmith Apollo, and there are standing tickets, which are amazing. They're doing a whole tour, not just London, so check it out on their site or something.

I was playing Machine Head yesterday. Pictures of Home has a lovely riff.
