James wrote:As I said before Rich I think you've done a really good job of those! I don't really have any models that I am satisfied with enough to show, as a lot of my army a few years back was quite lazily painted. If I get any more though I will spend a long time on each one. It's cool to see you've put some effort into giving them proper bases too (my Space Wolves just have bases painted green but that looks crap)

cheers James.the bases were done using modelling flock and modelling grass supplied with the citadel hobby starter set.
i also spray a light coat of purity seal on all my models after painting/basing to give them a slight shine and to stop them chipping/flaking/getting dusty etc.
here are the 2nd batch.i did the highlight technique a little different this time, paying attention to the armour edges to give them a more solid feel as opposed to my first batch which had an ork skin look about them in some areas(due to trying to drybrush areas).so yeah i felt i had improved slightly in comparison.theres always plenty of methods/skills to master gradually when painting so i guess its just down to practicing.

also here is my most recently completed model so far.it is 1 of 2 rare models i bought as a pair on ebay.
i also noticed my speed of painting getting better in comparison to my first batch.

im not sure what year these style of scorpions were made and never seen them anywhere else.a great find and a real bargain at £5(for the pair)

That's right, our very own Craig Watson's army, and also his first ever website I believe!
(don't delete this Craig, it deserves to be shared  )

All the cool kids played subbuteo, and you know it.

The thing that annoys me about that is that your left hand isn't straight.
