VICE tv channel VBS.tv in the US are doing a show on UK metal scene. Skill Wizard has sat in a field at Download and booked the best three young metal bands to play a FREE show to be filmed for the VBS series

With the Golden Gods and the Viurs/ST show tonight it' s a shame this has fallen on tonight as well!

Fuck me up the bloody bum bum, this was fuckin AWESOME! One of the most fun gigs I've ever played (probably because I was a lot more drunk than I usually am, but luckily still played amazingly). Despite being very last minute there was a very decent sized crowd, and very lovely mosh pit too. Yeah, that was a fucking wicked gig! Lasers From Atlantis were out of this bloody world, wasn't such a big fan of Dyscarnate, but then again I'm not a big fan of their style anyway.

Cause they interviewed me at the Anthrax show, quite patronizing people!

Vice US were filming yeah.

All the heads were down yeah, Peaches Geldoff, Idiot from The Libertines yeah, The Klaxons and some other Hoxtonites... yeah

So an odd crowd for a Mutant show but still loads of crowd action, mainly a load of old mates of mutant etc, not many thrashers at all (...just Me and Katze!) but still a fair sized audience. Mutant played really well, Zoom Gang sounded really good, and everything seemed to be ramped up a bit - supermegaturbo speed. I Did a hilarious Vox Pop for VBS.TV and chatted to the dude from Vice who although thinking he was beyond and above the best dude who has ever lived was quite a nice guy, he did also have a Goatwhore shirt on, and knew his stuff, so fair enough.

Lasers were truely amazing, Dyscarnate were fairly catchy but i didn't think they were that great overall.

Me and Josh just hung out with the Vice guys, we drank tea and ate cake, it was amazing.

Were the Klaxons there? I'm mates with the drummer Steff, ha ha. Lovely guy, but a ridiculous haircut. ha ha.
