Great pics, although was it really as good as being in the Bristol Pear watching Scythian? I think not.

Seriously though, the stage setup looks amazing.

How good was that????

What a great day.

It was nice to meet you james....I was pretty fucked. ;)

We did not get to Bath until 5. We stopped at reading services and had a car bong.

I felt rough on Sunday and Monday.

It was also good to see the Metalbrew boys. To touch Stu is always a thrill.

ROCK AND ROLL PARTY TIME

Next up Whitesnake and Def Leppard on Monday :D

They weren't shit.
T-shirts were very decently priced too. Going on Donington last year, I fully expected them to be £25+

I tried to throw a bottle at sevenfold but I'm a crap shot and miss. I was near the front and nearly lost a shoe, a exodus patch and lost an Iron Cross patch. I feel over and some gus helped me up then got me in a huddle to sing "can I play with madness".
But it was awesome

It was definitely one of the greatest Maiden shows I've ever been to, and still quite clear in my mind, unlike others which are a bit blurry (not from drink, just from the general haze of an amazing gig).

I am so happy we got to see tracks like The Clairvoyant and Powerslave live... imagine kids of future generations wishing they'd seen that!

I often wish I was around in the 80s to soak up all the ace gigs, but this reminds us that we still have the chance to see legends in the flesh in 2008 :D

The end of the 00s will be wierd. Its like, all these new huge bands shaing the stage with all these amazing bands at festivals and this will only come around like each 10-20 years. Its a good time to be going to gigs i think!

Well, we've been living through somewhat of a novelty period really. So many bands have got back together for festival tours. I mean, why would Sacred Reich, Forbidden or even Testament get back together? Whilst I'm grateful for the opportunity to see certain bands live, the ones I've wanted to see haven't been at their peak and others have been down-right gant.
