Aliens and True Lies are awesome aswell imo, while Titanic is really not my thing, I can appreciate that its a well done movie that took a lot of effort. I see it more as a quality over quantity thing with Cameron. His next movie Avatar though, is apparently gonna make titanic look like a piece of cake according to Jim, he's invented a new stereoscopic camera for it and apparently its gonna change the way movies are...

It still won't be better than Blade Runner.

I still haven't seen Blade Runner, and am now faced with a dilemma: shall I watch the original version, the director's cut version, or the final cut version?

Whichever one is the newest, i love the world. It just seems like it is actually plausible.

I bought the Director's Cut one but only watched it once when I was hammered. I might watch it tonight now that the idea has been raised.

Directors cut. The original was silly, they made Ford do those voice-overs against the wishes of pretty much everyone making the film, and he just sounds pissed off saying them.

The Final Cut edition is quite cheap on DVD at the moment though, has anyone seen that version? Maybe that would be the best if it is the most recent one (which it is), perhaps I'll just buy it. I do really really really need to see it.

Theres also some one scene that is added into the directors cut that totally changed my perspective on the film but i wont spoil it....but yes Blade Runner is an amazing film...just ask my dad he will go on for hours about it.

I don't like new versions of things, the originals are best, and the Directors cut is the proper film in its original glory.

It'd be so easy to track down Replicants because they all have daft hairdos. Great.
