Fair enough, but for me going to Download would be a massive waste of money, considering I can only afford to go to one festival or lad's holiday this year. Also with the pound sterling getting weaker and weaker, it seems my only two options are Bloodstock or doing nothing over the Summer, which would be shit so it's gonna be Bloodstock

You were allowed to take beer into the main arena at one point provided it was in a clear bag the vendors sold to you. You could fill it with 8 cans worth. Needless to say by 10.30(am) all the booze had gone and piss-riddled sandbags of doom were winging everywhere. I saw at least two people get knocked out clean. Bang. Gone.

Sometimes things change for the better....apart from the camping, biker gangs used to drive vans in which had their own PA system and they sold firewood but everyone fucked that off and chose to burn down the nearby forest.

Someone at bloodstock told me that on the last day of download everything just gets burned in some sort of neo-pagan frenzy. Anyway he said that one guy got his balls merked by a shard from an exploding gas canister and had to walk for a mile to the health station. That is a dry situation.
